Favorite with my Cats

My cats were a little leery when I first got it, but once they found out that it produces a gentle warmth, a cat is always camped out on it. The box states that it will give many years of use, but most of the reviews I read say that it died after a year, so I don't have any expectations of more than a year of use for this item. However, I purchased it at a good price and I can place it in any cat bed or sleep location of choice (I put a fleece blanket over the pad), so I feel that a year's heavy use is a reasonable life for this item. My cats give it 2 paws up!

Warm spot but...

We ordered the warmer to help keep senior kitty a little more comfortable when main heat off. What they don't say in the description is that it is meant for their pet beds & their pet beds only. We would not have gotten it if we'd known that. It doesn't work in her bed because of the thickness of the pillow in it. We've made it work under one layer of her favorite blanket, but it's not what we were led to believe. There is no covering for the plastic pad, so it must be under something & radiate through. Wouldn't buy it again.

My cat lives on this thing!

She's there right now... being an older, arthritic cat, I bought this for her last fall to give her a warm place to sleep, as our house is rather cool in the winter. This is the second winter we've used it, and she loves it. It shifts around in her bed somewhat - I know where it is by where in her bed she is :) Highly recommended, especially for older cats that need the extra warmth.

My Kitty loves this in his bed. He really needed it this year, we have had some cold days. He loves to stay in his bed and keep warm because of this heating pad. I would recommend this product for people who care about their pets well being. This is a wonderful product!

Pet warmer

My wife wanted a pet warming bed for her car because we keep the cat in the garage at night and the temps get down to the low 50s. She had not to long ago purchased a nice cat bed (no heater) so I suggested a warning pad to put in the bed instead of buying a new bed with a built in warming pad. We have used it this past 6 weeks or so which has been the coldest part of the winter so far and the cat seems to love staying in the bed. He even stays by the door to the garage and wants to get out to his bed for his afternoon nap! The warming pad uses only 4 watts of electricity so I leave it pluggen in all the time. All in all a good product so far and the price from Amazon is right and the free shipping on many of their products is a big plus.
